This Privacy Policy describes how the CryptoBook App (hereinafter referred to as the "App") collects, uses, and protects users' information. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. General Provisions

The CryptoBook App collects certain personal and technical data for account management, data synchronization, and advertising purposes. We respect your privacy and process your data only as described herein and only upon your explicit consent.

The App integrates third-party advertising services, which may automatically collect certain information as described below.

2. Data Collection and Use

2.1. Direct Data Collection (Via Google Auth and Sync)

To provide login functionality, data synchronization, and personalization, we use Google Authentication. We collect the following information from your Google account only upon your explicit consent to sign in:

                   
• Account Name: Used for personalizing the in-app experience.
                   
• Email Address: Used as a unique identifier for account management and authentication purposes. We do not use your email for marketing without additional explicit consent.
                   
• Access to Google Cloud/Drive: Requested solely to allow you to synchronize and securely store application data (e.g., portfolio details, transaction history) in your personal cloud storage. We access and modify only files created by the Crypto Book App itself, and we do not access your other files.
               

This data is essential for the correct functioning of the synchronization and backup features.

2.2. Data Collected by Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party advertising services provided by Google (e.g., Google AdMob) and utilizes the User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to manage user consent for advertising purposes. Through these services, Google may automatically collect certain information from your device, including but not limited to:                

                   
• Device Identifiers: Such as the Google Advertising ID.
                   
• Device Information: Including model, operating system, and IP address.
                   
• Location Data: If permission is granted by you.
                   
• Usage Data: Collected for the purpose of serving personalized or non-personalized advertisements.
               

We do not have direct control over the data collection practices of these third-party services. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy https://policies.google.com/privacy for more detailed information regarding the data they collect.

3. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not share your account credentials (name, email) or your synchronized data with third parties, except where necessary for the operation of Google services (Google Firebase/Authentication, Google Cloud for synchronization). Data collected by integrated third-party advertising services may be processed and shared in accordance with the privacy policies of those providers.                

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. Your login credentials are protected by Google's authentication protocols. Data synchronized to Google Cloud/Drive is stored in your personal cloud space and is secured by your Google account credentials. Access to locally stored data is managed by your device's operating system.                

5. Advertising and Consent

The App utilizes the User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to obtain and manage your consent regarding data processing for advertising purposes. Based on your consent: /p>              

       
• Personalized Advertising: May be served using your device data (such as the Advertising ID, device information, etc.) to tailor ads to your interests. This requires your explicitb consent.
       
• Non-Personalized Advertising: Will be displayed if you do not provide consent for personalized advertising, and does not use your personal data to tailor ads.
     

You can review and modify your advertising preferences through the options provided within the App.

6. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We recommend that you review this page periodically to stay informed of the latest changes. All changes take effect upon publication. If any significant changes are made, users will be notified through an appropriate notice within the App.
